A Special Message from Dr. Bisconti

Education is important but there are things that are far more important.  Number one is integrity.  Integrity is worth a thousand times more than education.  Second, there is a difference between what you learn in school and what you learn in life.  School gives you data, information, and technical skill.  Life gives you common sense, judgment and wisdom.  The difference between what school gives you and what life gives you is that the lessons of school fill your mind while the lessons of life transform your psyche.  School gives you knowledge.  Life gives you…power!  And, if you live your life under the leadership of God, life gives you…great power!

Answering The Whisper of Criticism of Dr. Bisconti’s Educational Achievements

We have noticed a handful of critics on the Internet gainsaying Dr. Bisconti’s educational achievements.  Well, their criticism is moot.  The reason their criticism is moot is that, if Dr. Bisconti’s educational claims were a total fallacy in a formal sense, this website would still demonstrate and prove their truth in an informal sense.  In other words, this website demonstrates Dr. Bisconti’s knowledge and wisdom and this knowledge and wisdom is commensurate with the educational history and academic credentials included below.  In street savvy language, “Dr. Bisconti has the goods.”  The critics are “infants in understanding” and their criticisms are to be totally and utterly ignored.  We document their educational and professional accomplishments on our page titled “Critics' Frailties,” for which we will soon provide the link.  Their accomplishments are laughable in comparison to Dr. Bisconti's accomplishments.

TRADITIONAL STANDARDS

This section describes that part of Dr. Bisconti’s educational background that is accepted by everyone and is based upon standards accepted by 100% of society and, especially, 100% of the academic community.  Also, see the sections below titled “NEXT-GENERATION STANDARDS.”

Precollege Years

Dr. Bisconti received spiritual instruction and guidance during his childhood years from Pastor Gus Graziano of the Brynford Bible Church, which is located in Chicago, Illinois.  While in high school, Dr. Bisconti was a leader in the Youth for Christ movement.  (Evangelist Dr. Billy Graham was the movement’s first full-time staff member.)  Dr. Bisconti was a member of the Honor Society and ranked number one in his high school graduating class of 650.  In 1967, his scores on his SAT test earned him an Illinois State Scholarship.  During his last two years of high school and during summer breaks while in college, Dr. Bisconti was mentored by a brilliant man of God, Pastor Kirby Kinman, pastor of the North Avenue Baptist Church, which is located in Northlake, Illinois.  In the summer before his formal college training, Dr. Bisconti attended Moody Bible Institute and Northwestern University.

College Years

In 1971, Dr. Bisconti received his bachelor degree in education from Midwestern Baptist College in the state of Michigan, having attended four years and having actually fulfilled all of his baccalaureate requirements in three years.  Dr. Bisconti simultaneously received his bachelor degree in ministerial studies and was formally ordained a minister of the Gospel by his pastor, Dr. Tom Malone, Sr., the founder of Midwestern Baptist College.  Several pastors affiliated with Midwestern Baptist College were in attendance.  The ordination ceremony was conducted at the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Pontiac, Michigan.  Dr. Bisconti’s training encompassed biblical studies, theology, psychology, education, church building, SCHOOL BUILDING (encompassing the building of elementary, secondary, and postsecondary [college and university level] institutions), and other studies.  During his college years, Dr. Bisconti pastored the North Avenue Baptist Church of Northlake, Illinois and served as Camp Director for the Shiloh Bible Camp.

First Postgraduate Work

Later in 1971, Dr. Bisconti attended Providence Christian Seminary in the state of Florida.  There he did postgraduate work in pastoral counseling, pastoral psychology, and pastoral psychiatry.  Simultaneously, at Providence Christian College, he served as an educational consultant and a professor of English.  In 1972, he served as an educational consultant and as a teacher at Oakland Christian Schools in Michigan.

NEXT-GENERATION STANDARDS
Part I

This section describes a part of Dr. Bisconti’s educational background that is accepted by virtually everyone and is based upon standards accepted by 99% of society and, especially, 99% of the academic community.  This acceptance scenario is common for certain types of educational history.  The reason for this scenario is that there are differences of opinion in society and, especially, in the academic community, concerning what constitutes legitimate accreditation of institutions and legitimate accreditation of degrees.

Note, however, REGARDING ALL COLLEGE GRADUATES, that both society and the academic community are in 100% agreement REGARDING ALL ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS AND ALL ACADEMIC DEGREES relative to 90% OF THE PRINCIPLES OF BOTH INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION AND DEGREE ACCREDITATION.  Dr. Bisconti follows these principles.  For detailed information, download Dr. Bisconti’s ACAA slideshow (614 Kb).  You may recognize some of the concepts, principles, and language since Dr. Bisconti’s work is influential in certain circles within the accreditation community.  You may also purchase Dr. Bisconti's book American Principles of Accreditation Copyright 1970 – 2009 Einstein House Publishers.

IAAC, NCOA, FRACHE, COPA, CORPA, and CHEA

Military Service, Naval Intelligence, and the U.S. Urban Force

Dr. Bisconti comes from a family with a proud history of military service.  In 1973, Dr. Bisconti volunteered for military service in the Navy and was assigned to Naval Intelligence.  His involvement with Naval Intelligence led him to join the U.S. Urban Force.  He served for ten years.  During that time he saved the lives of more than a score of people, barely escaping death on a couple of occasions.  He left the U.S. Urban Force in 1983, having attained the rank of “Commander.”  The U.S. Urban Force website is located at http://urbanforce.us.

ACAA and The Collegiate Institutes

In 1973, using his school building training, Dr. Bisconti established a number of collegiate institutes.  Their curriculums surpassed the corresponding curriculums at Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, and Yale.  The collegiate institutes received informal recognition from each of these universities.  Six of the several collegiate institutes that he established are the MicroTech Institute, the Pneumiatry Institute, the Chicago Linguistics Institute, the Chicago Theoretical Physics Institute, the Chicago Business Institute, and the Chicago Constitutional Law Institute.  These institutes received accreditation from the ACAA in their first year of operation.  Since 2000, the websites for these institutes have been partially or completely and gradually deactivated as a part of our process of consolidating their resources into Chicago Christian University.
